Technical overview

  • Wide color gamut IPS panel (82% NTSC), max. brightness 350 cd/m², contrast 800:1, refresh rate 60 Hz.
  • 10-point capacitive touch behind a 6H-hardness toughened glass panel; optical bonding improves display quality.
  • Connectors: standard HDMI for video, USB for touch input, and full-featured Type-C for display signal and power (5V).
  • Power via 5V Type-C jack; rated voltage 5.00 V (tolerance 4.75–5.25 V), input current min. 750 mA / rated 800 mA.
  • Operating temperature range 0–60 °C, storage temperature range −10–70 °C; avoid prolonged exposure to hot, humid environments.
  • Supported operating systems: Windows 11/10/8.1/8/7 as a PC monitor, and Raspberry Pi OS, Ubuntu, Kali and RetroPie on Raspberry Pi.
  • Multi-language OSD menu; brightness/contrast adjustable via OSD menu or DDC/CI software (e.g., Twinkle Tray on Windows, ddcutil on Linux).
  • Dimensions: overall 241.00(H) × 149.00(V) × 11.80(D) mm; display area 135.36(H) × 216.58(V) mm; weight 809 g; power consumption 4 W.

Commands and examples – verify before use:

hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_cvt 1280 800 60 6 0 0 0
hdmi_drive=1
sudo apt-get install ddcutil -y
sudo ddcutil detect
sudo ddcutil setvcp 10 <value>

Notes and version constraints

  • The EDID sequence parameters (pixel clock 77.00, H/V addressable 1280/800, etc.) are only needed if the main control board cannot auto-detect EDID; otherwise manual configuration can be skipped.
  • When used with a PC, the screen may flicker if USB power is insufficient; connecting an external 5V/1A adapter to the power port restores normal operation.
  • On Raspberry Pi, the resolution must be manually set in config.txt; otherwise the display will show at an incorrect resolution.
  • Input current below 750 mA causes start-up failure or abnormal display; remaining in that state for a long time may permanently damage the monitor.
  • For one-cable connection, the master device must support a full-featured Type-C interface and wired projection; otherwise the link will not work.
  • The maximum input current value in the spec sheet is still TBD; please confirm with the manufacturer.
  • DDC/CI brightness adjustment requires a supported monitor; whether Twinkle Tray or ddcutil works depends on your driver/kernel version — test beforehand.
