hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_cvt 1280 800 60 6 0 0 0
hdmi_drive=1
sudo apt-get install ddcutil -y
sudo ddcutil detect
sudo ddcutil setvcp 10 <value>
Notes and version constraints
- EDID sequence parameters are only needed if the main control board cannot auto-detect EDID – otherwise automatic detection is sufficient
- Input current must be ≥750 mA, otherwise start-up failure or abnormal display may occur; prolonged abnormal state can cause permanent damage
- Input voltage outside the 4.75–5.25 V range or improper operation can permanently damage the device
- Do not store the display for long periods in high-temperature/high-humidity environments; operation within specified limits is required to avoid damage
- Some PCs do not support HDMI plug-and-play immediately – after rebooting the system the display usually works normally
- If USB power supply is insufficient the LCD will flicker; connecting an external 5 V / 1 A adapter to the power port restores normal use
- When used with Raspberry Pi, the resolution must be manually set in config.txt, otherwise incorrect display settings appear
- The single-cable full-feature Type-C solution requires both the control board and the phone/PC to support a full-feature Type-C interface and wired projection
- DDC/CI brightness adjustment requires installing DDC/CI software (e.g., Twinkle Tray on Windows or ddcutil on Linux); exact values need to be adapted to the environment
