Technical overview

Dual-mode Bluetooth 5.1 module for the Raspberry Pi Pico series.
Communication over UART; example code uses 115200 baud by default.
Dimensions approx. 56.5 × 21 mm; operating voltage 3.3 V or 5 V.
Connects via standard Pico header; UART0 on pins TX=0, RX=1; status pin on pin 15.
V1.1 (purchased after 2022/02/20) additionally supports connection to a Raspberry Pi via rfcomm.
C example code implements initialization, command processing, and transparent data forwarding.
Commands are sent over UART; carriage return + line feed at end of line is required, otherwise commands are invalid.
For mobile devices: When using the BLE protocol, the notify function must be enabled in the app.

Notes and version constraints

Only slave mode is available – no host mode.
V1.0 can currently only pair with mobile devices; Raspberry Pi support starts from V1.1 (purchased after 2022/02/20).
CR+LF line ending is mandatory for AT commands; otherwise they will not be processed.
Using MicroPython firmware for Pico2 may cause recognition issues; use the recommended firmware from the package.
The exact AT commands beyond the reset command are not fully listed in the source text – please consult the user manual.
