Notes and version constraints
- The software build is largely based on the official NVIDIA JetBot wiki; differences between Waveshare and NVIDIA versions can affect motor driving.
- The image must be written to an SD card of at least 64 GB.
- Before assembly, it is recommended to test the Jetson Nano Developer Kit standalone.
- Teleoperation requires a USB gamepad connection and axis configuration (Xbox mode recommended).
- Collision avoidance requires a classified image dataset for 'free' and 'blocked' scenarios.
- If the SD card is not recognized in Windows: use Disk Management, delete the volume, reformat, then rewrite the image.
- The 12 V adapter is only for charging the batteries and must not be connected directly to the Jetson Nano board.
- The JetBot can only be powered by the 12.6 V supply; the ribbon cable does not power it.
