Summary
The PoE HAT (B) is a Power-over-Ethernet module for Raspberry Pi 3B+/4B. It powers and connects the Pi over a single network cable using the 802.3af standard.

Notes and version constraints
- The source contains template placeholders ({{{name2}}} etc.), which were ignored.
- Some steps are version-sensitive: On Bullseye/Bookworm only certain libraries are available (e.g., only lgpio).
- The Python interpreter path in the service file must be confirmed with “which python3.”
- For older systems, rc.local is used; the command must run with & or boot may hang.
- Third-party programs are not maintained by Waveshare; test the demo first to rule out hardware issues.
