Technical overview

  • The display is a 15.6-inch IPS panel with a native resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
  • It features a toughened-glass capacitive touch panel with 6H hardness and 10-point capacitive touch control.
  • As a computer monitor it supports Windows 11/10/8.1/8/7; when used with a mini-PC, connect via HDMI or VGA (using a mini-HDMI-to-VGA cable).
  • For use with Raspberry Pi, supported systems are Raspberry Pi OS, Ubuntu, Kali, and Retropie.
  • When operating with Raspberry Pi, the resolution must be set manually in config.txt; otherwise display anomalies may occur.
  • Power is supplied through a 12 V DC input (recommended adapter 12 V / 1 A); the touch module is powered via USB at approximately 5 V.
  • The unit includes an OSD menu keypad with Power, Menu, navigation, and Exit keys for adjusting brightness, contrast, and power management.
  • Software backlight adjustment can be done via DDC/CI messages under Windows (e.g., Twinkle Tray) or using ddcutil on Linux.

Commands and examples – verify before use:

hdmi_mode=82
hdmi_cvt 1920 1080 60 6 0 0 0
disable_splash=1
sudo apt-get install ddcutil -y
sudo ddcutil detect
sudo ddcutil setvcp 10 <value>

Notes and version constraints

  • When using with a PC, ensure the display is configured as the main screen if multiple monitors are connected simultaneously.
  • Some PCs do not support hot-plug for HDMI displays; in that case, reboot the system to restore normal display output.
  • Audio output through the 3.5 mm jack works only during HDMI communication.
  • Connecting to a VGA port requires a separate mini-HDMI-to-VGA cable.
  • The mounting instructions describe reference materials that are not included in the shipped kit.
  • The back of the display must not be mounted parallel to the ground; for angled mounting, keep the angle from horizontal at least 75°.
  • The voltage at the 12 V DC input must not exceed 16 V; higher voltages may damage the power supply IC.
  • Exact compatibility with specific mini-PC models or OS versions should be verified before purchase.
