Notes and version constraints

  • The power supply must deliver exactly 12 V; deviations outside the 11.5–12.5 V range may cause permanent damage
  • Input current must be at least 1000 mA, otherwise startup may fail or the display may not appear
  • When using alternative power supplies, ripple voltage must stay within ±5%
  • On Raspberry Pi, the resolution must be set manually via config.txt because it is not auto-detected
  • Some PCs only recognize HDMI devices correctly after a reboot
  • Avoid storing the display in high temperature and humidity; operating temp max 60 °C, storage temp max 70 °C
