Commands and examples – verify before use:
hdmi_force_hotplug=1
config_hdmi_boost=10
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_cvt 1024 600 60 6 0 0 0
Notes and version constraints
- The config.txt lines are version-sensitive: newer Raspberry Pi OS versions may use different hdmi_cvt syntax; verify applicability before deploying on a specific system.
- Power supply must deliver at least 3000 mA; insufficient supply can cause start-up failure or permanent damage – size the power source accordingly.
- Long-term storage in high temperature/humidity environments can damage the display; store only within the stated temperature limits.
- PWM backlight adjustment requires rotating a 10K resistor by 180°; this is a physical board modification and should be done only after consulting the manufacturer.
- Disabling the backlight requires replacing the 82K resistor with a 68K resistor – also a physical modification requiring skilled execution.
- Exact pin assignments for the speaker header (left/right channel) are shown as a diagram in the original document; without the figure the assignment remains uncertain.
- Max current output of the USB host ports is 1 A; when connecting external devices, ensure total load stays below this limit.
