Notes and version constraints
- The compatibility list covers only the Raspberry Pi models named in the source; other boards are unconfirmed
- When using the DSI0 interface (Pi5/CM4 only), append “dsi0” to the dtoverlay entry
- Older revisions (e.g., Rev2.1) may cause power-detection issues on Pi5; removing certain capacitors may be required
- The GUI steps described apply mainly to Trixie/Bookworm; older systems such as Bullseye/Buster need manual touch rotation settings
- Installing the Waveshare Brightness tool requires internet access for the download
- The commands and file paths provided should be verified against the specific system before use
