Notes and version constraints
- The described steps refer to the versions and paths stated in the source text; suitability must be verified for other system versions or paths.
- The disable_splash=1 entry only removes the colored GPU self-test image at Raspberry Pi startup; whether this is desired should be confirmed.
- The evdev-rce modifications assume a specific test environment (raspios-bullseye-armhf, 32-bit); behavior may differ on other distributions.
- In multi-monitor setups, touch input works on the main screen by default; manual calibration is required for other monitors.
- Some PCs do not recognize HDMI devices plug-and-play; they generally work normally after a system restart.
- PWM backlight adjustment requires removing a resistor and connecting a cable – a hardware modification that should only be performed by qualified personnel.
