Summary

The PL2303 USB-to-UART (TTL) communication module (V2) converts USB to a serial interface and supports 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V and 5 V logic levels via jumper settings. It uses the newer PL2303GS chip, provides three status LEDs (TXD, RXD, PWR), and is compatible with Windows XP/7/8/10/11.

Notes and version constraints

  • No commands are specified in the source document – no exact commands derived.
  • Exact jumper positions for each mode are not detailed; consult the original schematic before changing jumpers.
  • Linux drivers must be installed manually; the document only lists “PL2303G Linux driver” without installation instructions.
  • No warranty, certification, or pricing information is present – no assumptions made.
  • Version-sensitive steps (e.g., exact jumper configuration) require human confirmation against the current schematic.
