Notes and version constraints

  • Exact network coverage depends on the provider and SIM card; verify local 4G/3G/2G availability before deployment.
  • GPS testing requires clear sky visibility; rainy weather may interfere with measurements.
  • For dial-up over Windows, NDIS or PPP may need to be configured manually if automatic recognition fails.
  • If COM ports show exclamation marks in Device Manager, install the SIM7600X driver manually.
  • Demo files must be correctly extracted and copied to /home/pi; otherwise the 'chmod: cannot access' error occurs.
  • Audio parameters (e.g., AT^PWRCTL, AT+CECM, AT+CECH) are version-sensitive and require a module restart after configuration.
  • Using Minicom requires knowing the correct ttyUSB device name; the default baud rate is 115200.
