Technical overview

  • Resolution: 240 × 240 pixels; color depth: 65K RGB (16-bit).
  • Operating voltage: 3.3 V / 5 V depending on the target system.
  • Interface: 4-wire SPI (MOSI, SCLK, CS, DC, RST, BL).
  • Controller: GC9A01 with 129,600 bytes of internal GRAM.
  • Display area: circle of Φ32.4 mm on a square pixel matrix; edge pixels are not shown.
  • Raspberry Pi wiring: DIN→GPIO19, CLK→GPIO23, CS→GPIO24, DS/DC→GPIO22, RST→GPIO13, BL→GPIO12.
  • STM32 example (F103RB): DIN→PA7, CLK→PA5, CS→PB6, DC→PA8, RST→PA9, BL→PC7.
  • Arduino UNO wiring: DIN→D11, CLK→D13, CS→D10, DC→D7, RST→D8, BL→D9.

Commands and examples – verify before use:

sudo raspi-config
sudo reboot
sudo ./main 1.28
sudo python3 1inch28_LCD_test.py

Notes and version constraints

  • Exact pin mapping may vary by board variant; verify actual connections before soldering.
  • On newer Raspberry Pi OS releases (e.g., Bookworm), only certain libraries are available; demo file compatibility must be confirmed.
  • The GC9A01 supports 12/16/18-bit data buses; the correct configuration for the chosen system must be adjusted manually.
  • Maximum power consumption at 3.3 V: 31.2 mA — size the power supply accordingly.
  • Commands in the examples refer to the provided demo files; versions may differ.
