Notes and version constraints
- The exact DTBO files must be downloaded from Waveshare and copied into /boot/overlays/; the source text does not include a direct download URL.
- When using both DPI and HDMI simultaneously, they share the same rotation value – separate rotation is not possible.
- For older systems (Stretch/Jessie), display_rotate must be set in config.txt; this method does not work on newer KMS-based systems.
- Touch calibration matrices are version-sensitive; incorrect values lead to inconsistent touch orientation.
- Extending the cable beyond 10 cm may cause signal interference; alternative interfaces such as HDMI or MIPI DSI are recommended.
