Technical overview

  • Inspect all components before assembly.
  • Mount buttons on the metal box: the four-wire button is Power, the two-wire button is Reset.
  • Insert the micro SD adapter board into the Jetson Nano card slot and press until it locks.
  • Route cables, mount the Jetson Nano Developer Kit inside the metal box and secure it with screws.
  • Secure the micro SD adapter board with a screw.
  • Fix the GPIO adapter board to the metal box using skews.
  • Attach the wireless module antennas to the metal box and assemble the cooling fan.
  • Mount the bottom camera holder on the metal cover, attach the camera to the top holder with nylon screws, adjust the angle, and tighten.
  • Dimensions: 13.2 cm (L) x 10.2 cm (W) x 5.5 cm (H).
  • Enable DC power by shorting the J48 interface with a jumper cap, then plug the DC supply into the circular power connector.

Notes and version constraints

  • For older A02 development kit version: connect the POWER button only to the key pin; leave the LED light pin unconnected.
  • If you purchased a Jetson Nano DEV KIT, the TF card adapter board does not apply; insert the TF card directly into the bottom board's card slot. The adapter board is only suitable for the official Nvidia kit.
  • When removing the adapter board, press it first so it pops up, then pull it out. Do not pull it out directly, as this can damage the card slot.
  • If using only one camera, connect just one cable.
  • Assembly steps may vary by hardware revision; verify your exact kit version before proceeding if uncertain.
