Notes and version constraints

  • SD-card writing steps (Win32DiskImager, SDFormatter) are version-sensitive; the latest Raspberry Pi image must be downloaded
  • Replacing the boot logo requires access to /usr/share/plymouth/themes/pix/splash.png – verify the path for your system version
  • The long-press/right-click emulation is stated to support only 32-bit systems; not supported by default on 64-bit
  • PWM backlight control requires removing a resistor on the board – a mechanical modification; please confirm before executing
  • When multiple displays are connected, this LCD should be set as the main display because touch cursor control works only on the main display
  • All commands were taken verbatim from the source; verify their applicability for the specific system version before running them
