Notes and version constraints

  • Commands listed are valid only when taken verbatim from the source; changes to system version or firmware may invalidate the steps.
  • When using VGA, a separate Mini-HDMI-to-VGA cable is required and is not included in the package.
  • HP audio output works only while connected via HDMI.
  • On Raspberry Pi, the config.txt lines must be entered without spaces on either side of the equals sign.
  • According to the source, the long-press right-click driver supports only 32-bit systems; 64-bit systems are not supported by default.
  • Hardware modifications for PWM backlight control can damage the LCD; the source advises against modifications by inexperienced users.
