Notes and version constraints

  • The camera does not support Android.
  • When used on a Mac system, some parameters such as brightness and contrast may not be controllable; for full parameter control, a Linux system with the V4L2 driver is recommended.
  • The lens has a wide 145° field of view, causing about 20% distortion and a curve effect in images.
  • The module heats up significantly during operation; this is normal.
  • Do not touch the back of the PCB, as it can affect electrical characteristics.
