Notes and version constraints

  • Avoid touching the components on the backside of the PCB to prevent affecting electrical performance.
  • The module heats up significantly during use, which is normal.
  • On macOS, some parameters such as brightness or contrast may not be controllable via OpenCV; using Linux with V4L2 drivers is recommended.
  • The module does not record audio; it has only a video USB interface and no embedded microphone.
