Technical overview

Extends the host by adding three USB output ports with a transmission rate of up to 480 Mbit/s (USB 2.0 High Speed).
An integrated 1-channel RTL8152B Ethernet chip enables 100 Mbit/s network transmission over the RJ45 port.
Each USB output supplies a maximum of 1.2 A; exceeding this limit triggers short-circuit protection and requires removing the device to reset it.
Protection circuits include over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, over-temperature, reverse current, under-voltage lock-out, 8 kV ESD protection, and filtering.
LED1 through LED3 indicate the enumeration status of each USB port; the red PWR LED signals that power is on.
The orange network indicator flashes during normal network connection, while the green LINK LED remains steadily lit.
Operating temperature range is -40 °C to 85 °C without condensation; the module is not waterproof.
The enclosure is made of industrial metal and includes mounting holes for easy installation in control cabinets or industrial environments.

Notes and version constraints

No fixed IP address exists – configuration depends on the connected main control unit.
USB devices must be firmly seated, as a loose connection can prevent enumeration.
If an LED does not light up, verify that the connected USB device operates correctly and that drivers are installed on the computer.
The device does not support sharing USB ports over Ethernet; it functions solely as a USB network card.
