Technical overview

  • Supported frequency bands include LTE-FDD (incl. B1–B8, B12, B13, B18, B19, B20, B25, B26, B28, B66), LTE-TDD (B34, B38, B39, B40, B41), WCDMA (B1, B2, B4, B5, B6, B8, B19), and GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz).
  • Maximum data rates: LTE up to 150 Mbps downlink / 50 Mbps uplink; HSPA+ 42/5.76 Mbps; WCDMA 384 Kbps; EDGE 236.8 Kbps; GPRS 85.6 Kbps.
  • Integrated GNSS systems: GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS.
  • Interfaces: UART, USB, GPIO; antenna connection via IPEX-4 (main, diversity, and GNSS antennas).
  • Supply voltage: 3 V to 4.2 V; approximately 4.0 V recommended for stable operation.
  • Form factor: M.2 B Key, dimensions 42.0 × 31.4 × 3.8 mm.
  • Operating temperature range: −40 °C to +85 °C.
  • Protocols: TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, Multi-PDP, FTP/S, HTTP/S, DNS; SMS in MT/MO/CB, text, and PDU formats.
  • Firmware updates possible via USB or FOTA.
  • Indicators: STA/NET LEDs indicate status (e.g., ON/OFF/blinking patterns reflect network state).

Notes and version constraints

  • Do not plug the module while it is powered; disconnect power before insertion.
  • M.2 B Key is not compatible with MINI-PCIE; verify the interface before use.
  • Recommended supply voltage is approximately 4.0 V; operation may fail outside the 3–4.2 V range.
  • If the module fails to establish a stable network after setup, the listed AT+CNBP commands can adjust the frequency band – select only one of them.
  • Repeated dialing over NDIS may return “NO CARRIER”; set the default mode using AT+CUSBPIDSWITCH=9001,1,1.
  • The auxiliary (diversity) antenna requires a connected main antenna for transmission; it cannot function standalone without the main antenna.
