Notes and version constraints

  • The exact config.txt lines are version-sensitive; verify compatibility with the installed Raspberry Pi OS before applying them.
  • PWM backlight control requires removing a resistor and soldering the upper pad to Raspberry Pi pin P1 – this step involves hardware modification.
  • The listed gpioc commands rely on the 'gpio' utility; it may not be preinstalled on every system image.
  • When multiple monitors are connected simultaneously, this LCD should be set as the primary screen so that it controls the cursor.
  • An external power adapter may be needed if the host (PC or Raspberry Pi) cannot fully power the display.
  • The stated operating current (750–900 mA) refers to normal operation; inrush currents at startup may be higher.
  • No information on certifications, warranty, or safety approvals was present in the source – these require separate confirmation.
