Notes and version constraints

  • PWM backlight control requires soldering a transistor and attaching the PWM pad – verify the exact location against the wiki diagram before modifying
  • Long-press right-click feature supports only 32-bit systems per source; it does not work by default on 64-bit systems
  • VGA input requires a separately purchased mini-HDMI-to-VGA cable, not included in the package
  • When multiple screens are connected to one PC, set this LCD as the main display, otherwise cursor control may be limited
  • Some PCs do not support HDMI hot-plug; restarting the PC may resolve the issue
  • The stated operating currents (12 V / 0.5 A and 5 V / 80 mA) apply to the V2 case version per source; other revisions may differ
  • For Raspberry Pi use, download the latest system image from the official Raspberry Pi site and flash it with Win32DiskImager
