Summary

Technical overview

• The device is a stable, high-speed and low-power converter for connecting RS485 devices to the Ethernet network.
• Configuration is done via a web page; the device's MAC address can be looked up there.
• To restore factory settings: after power-on, press and hold the reload button for 5 seconds.
• For network connection, the device and computer must use the same network address with different node IPs (e.g., device 192.168.0.7, computer 192.168.0.8).
• By default the device listens on port 1111 for TCP connections.
• If data transfer fails, check whether the RX indicator blinks – if it doesn't, no data is being received and wiring must be checked.
• For RS485 wiring: connect T+ to A, T- to B.
• Common baud rates are 9600 and 115200; parameters must match the connected RS485 device.
• Firewalls may block TCP connections; check or temporarily disable firewall settings if needed.
• If the device is unreachable, ping its default IP to verify the device is still active.

Notes and version constraints

• Modbus TCP is not supported by this model; a different product in the range provides that function.
• The exact AT commands are not specified in the source data; please consult the corresponding AT command manual.
• When configuring IP addresses, ensure the device and computer are in the same subnet but have different host IPs.
• If the web configuration page cannot be opened, check the direct cabling (device directly to computer) and correct IP assignment.
• When using Modbus functions, a different device must be used since this model does not provide that capability.
