Technical overview
- Two main components: the AlphaBot2 base board and a selectable adapter board (Ar, Pi, or PiZero).
- The kit supports Arduino, Raspberry Pi 3B, and Raspberry Pi Zero W via their respective adapter boards.
- Example programs include motor test, joystick direction, infrared remote control, ultrasonic obstacle avoidance, line tracking, and servo control.
- For the Arduino variant, library files are copied into the Arduino IDE libraries folder; then verify the TRSensors option under File → Examples.
- Serial monitoring is configured at a baud rate of 115200 to display measurement values and sensor outputs.
- Line-tracking calibration: hold the car near the ground on a black line to capture minimum and maximum sensor values.
- The black track width is 15 cm; a background that is too dark interferes with detection.
- Infrared remote control uses keys 2, 8, 4, 6, and 5 for forward, backward, left, right, and stop; plus/minus adjusts speed.
- Ultrasonic measurements may be inaccurate when the obstacle plane is angled relative to the car due to wave reflection.
- The SG90 servo is entry-level; squeaking and heating arise from an inaccurate potentiometer setting after extended use.

Notes and version constraints
- The document contains placeholders such as {{{name5}}} and {{{userDefinedInfo}}}, indicating incomplete source data.
- Some sections are version-sensitive: exact hardware configuration can vary by product variant.
- The source explicitly notes that certain kits may not include all described components.
- Safety note: excessively low battery voltage can cause permanent damage; power off and charge when voltage is too low.
- If motor rotation direction is wrong, swap pins AIN1/AIN2 or BIN1/BIN2, or adjust them in the program.
- Different infrared remotes have different key codes; the program must be modified accordingly.
