Technical overview

  • Interface: UART; default baud rate after power-up: 115200
  • Resolution: 800 x 600 pixels
  • Graphics: 1-bit and 2-bit bitmap images; other formats must be converted to the specified format
  • Image file names: uppercase letters, length under 10 characters including the dot, e.g. PIC7.BMP correct, PIC7890.BMP incorrect
  • Internal storage: 128 MB NandFlash for fonts and image data
  • External storage: TF card formatted as FAT32 required
  • Supply voltage: VCC 3.3–5.5 V
  • Logic level: compatible with 5 V; sleep-mode current below 5 mA
  • Sleep/wake behavior: status indicator on during normal operation, off in sleep mode; rising edge on WAKE_UP pin wakes the system
  • Applications: e-book readers, mall POS displays, shelf labels, industrial instrument displays

Notes and version constraints

  • The exact Arduino wiring is truncated in the source – please verify against the full document
  • The complete command set is not present in the available sections – consult the full documentation
  • Converting images requires the external tool uC-GUI-BitmapConvert.exe – availability not guaranteed
  • Use of external waveform files depends on the driver IC – details are version-sensitive
  • Color variation on tri-color models is a normal phenomenon – no guarantee of uniform color
