== Technical overview ==
* The Raspberry Pi 400 uses a 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A72 processor and 4 GB LPDDR4-3200 memory.
* Connectivity: 2× USB 3.0, 1× USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0/BLE, two micro-HDMI ports (up to 4Kp60).
* The 13.3-inch display offers 1920×1080 resolution on an IPS panel with tempered glass (6H hardness) and capacitive touch.
* The display supports HDMI, VGA and audio output via a 3.5 mm jack; built-in speakers are included.
* Display power is supplied via a 12 V/1 A DC plug; the Raspberry Pi requires a 5 V/3 A adapter at the Type-C port.
* When used with Raspberry Pi, the resolution must be set manually in config.txt; otherwise the system default resolution is used.
* To rotate the screen, add display_rotate=1/2/3 to /boot/config.txt; for Raspberry Pi 4, also comment out dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-V3D.
* After rotating the display, the touch calibration must be adjusted by adding a CalibrationMatrix entry in the libinput configuration file for the desired angle.

== Notes and version constraints ==
* Exact compatibility details for operating systems (e.g., Windows 7/8/8.1/10, Raspbian, Ubuntu, Kali, Retropie, Win10 IoT) should be verified before purchase.
* When multiple monitors are connected simultaneously, the LCD should be configured as the primary monitor; otherwise the cursor can only be controlled through the LCD.
* VGA connection requires a separate mini-HDMI-to-VGA adapter cable, which is not included in the package.
* Some PC systems do not recognize HDMI devices via plug-and-play; a system restart may be required.
* The headphone audio output works only during HDMI communication.
* For Raspberry Pi 4, dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-V3D must be commented out when using display_rotate – this step is version-sensitive.
* Touch calibration after rotation requires manual adjustment of the CalibrationMatrix; without this step, the touch position will be inaccurate.
* Prices, stock availability, warranty terms, and certifications are not provided in the source and must be verified separately.
