== Technical overview ==
* Connection: Insert the HAT into the Raspberry Pi GPIO header; connect its USB connector to a USB port on the Pi with a micro-USB cable.
* Interfaces: 1x RJ45 (ETH), 3x USB (USB1–USB3), plus a USB connector for linking to the Raspberry Pi.
* Indicators: PWR LED lights when the Pi is powered on; ACT blinks during network activity; D1–D3 light up when devices are connected to USB1–USB3.
* Network connection: Connect a network cable to the RJ45 port; the Ethernet interface then appears in the system.
* USB devices: External USB devices can be plugged into USB1 through USB3.
* Resources: Schematic, 3D drawing, and box assembly guide are available as files.
* Compatibility note: Works with Raspberry Pi models that have a free USB port; specific model details are not specified.
* Wiring: No additional cabling needed except the micro-USB cable between Pi and HAT.

== Notes and version constraints ==
* CM4: USB 2.0 is disabled by default; add `dtoverlay=dwc2,dr_mode host` to config.txt to enable it.
* Raspberry Pi Zero: If the USB port is configured as a wireless network card, the USB hub will not be recognized.
* Ethernet at USB boot: Some chips have dual functions and act as a virtual CD-ROM during reset, causing loss of Ethernet recognition; a driver switch may be needed.
* USB troubleshooting: Check for poor contact at the USB connector; connect the hub directly to a computer to test recognition.
* No information on supported Raspberry Pi models, power consumption, or warranty in the source document.
