== Technical overview ==
* Compatible with Atmel AVR ISP; supports AVR Studio 4/5/6/7.
* Transfers programs only through the ISP interface (download only, no simulation).
* Supports project files from IAR, ICCAVR, CVAVR, and WINAVR (GCC).
* Only HEX files are supported; BIN files or HEX files converted from BIN are not supported.
* Encrypted AVR chips cannot be read out.
* The COM port should fall within COM1–COM4; if it is outside this range (e.g., COM6), the port must be changed into that range.
* If the device is not recognized, the CH340 driver (Windows) can be installed.

== Notes and version constraints ==
* The source contains placeholders such as {{{name2}}} through {{{userdefinedvalue}}}, indicating incomplete metadata.
* The mapping between AVR Studio versions and firmware versions (e.g., AVR Studio 4.18 → 1.0d, Atmel Studio 6.12 → 1.7d, Atmel Studio 7 → 1.8d) comes from an FAQ entry; verify before use.
* The statement that only HEX files are supported applies to the downloaders sold here; other variants may differ.
* No explicit commands were present in the source, so none were included.
* Compatibility with specific MCU models is not specified in the source.
