== Summary ==
The Pico LCD 1.3 is a 1.3-inch IPS LCD module for the Raspberry Pi Pico/Pico 2 with a resolution of 240×240 pixels and 65K color depth (RGB565). It is driven via a 4-wire SPI interface and uses an ST7789VW driver chip.
* C/C++ demo is compiled with CMake; the generated main.uf2 is copied to the board via the USB bootloader
* Thonny IDE is used for Python demos; the script file is named Pico-LCD-1.3.py

'''Commands and examples – verify before use:'''
sudo wget https://files.waveshare.com/wiki/common/Pico_code.7z
cmake -DPICO_BOARD=pico -DPICO_PLATFORM=rp2040 ..
cmake -DPICO_BOARD=pico2 -DPICO_PLATFORM=rp2350 ..

== Notes and version constraints ==
* Exact SPI timing (CPHA/CPOL) depends on the firmware version; when changing drivers, initialization must be re-verified.
* The pin mapping assumes correct module orientation – reversed mounting causes malfunctions.
* The demo source code is continuously updated according to the source; older versions may contain incompatible API calls.
* If Thonny has issues, the IDE should be upgraded (sudo apt upgrade thonny), since older versions lack Pico support.
* The exact COM port selection during the first Arduino upload is device-dependent and must be manually confirmed.
